KIULU:
Crispin Datuk Kitingan, younger brother of Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan and
Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan had never shown any interest in joining a political
party even though he had been invited or asked about joining one.
But
after his retirement as the SAFODA Research and Development Manager, Crispin
choses to join Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan).
“I
chose Warisan as my first political platform in February this year, neither PBS
nor Star,” said Crispin in his speech during the Kaamatan Open House at Kg.
Mantob here.
The Kaamatan organized by the Kiulu Warisan Division headed by Jo-Anne Sue Henley Rampas a few days ago. Crispin said, PBS founded by Pairin is now a stooge of BN-Umno.
“If
I support PBS, it means I support the BN-Umno regime and thus leaders of the
party, the continued ‘colonisation’ of Sabah and thus the continued oppression
of our people and the plundering of our State wealth,” said Crispin, added
that PBS leaders in the BN-Umno led government has no clout. The Kaamatan organized by the Kiulu Warisan Division headed by Jo-Anne Sue Henley Rampas a few days ago. Crispin said, PBS founded by Pairin is now a stooge of BN-Umno.

Crispin
affirmed that he is supporting Star’s struggle led by Jeffrey for the rights of
Sabahans especially about MA63 and 20-point.
“But
Star, unfortunately, does not have support of the majority for the reasons
best known by the people,” said Crispin.
Crispin
invites Malaysian in Sabah not to waste their time, energy and money in
supporting a party that has no capacity to defeat the BN-Umno regime, what more
to form the next government.
“After
all, Warisan is fighting for the same cause but the party is the best platform to oust the corrupt BN-Umno led
government,” he said.
Although Crispin had never joined any political partiy, he has been exposed
to politics since the rules of Usno, Berjaya, PBS and now BN-Umno.Attendees focus on a Kaamatan performance at stage |
Reasons
why he chooses Warisan are because of his concern of the current situation and
pissed off with the current corrupt government which has resulted in many
issues that had made life difficult for the people of Sabah.
“I
felt called to give a hand and contribute in changing the current regime,”
Crispin concluded.
To
Crispin, Warisan is a truly multiracial local party that holds the principle of
uniting the people of Sabah irrespective of race and religion.
He
also believes in the leadership, the capability and the sincerity of the
Warisan leaders under the able leadership of Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal and YB
Darell Leiking in fighting for the rights of the Sabahans and to bring true
development, wealth, equality, justice, peace and harmony for the people of
Sabah.
